how does your significant other feels towards having a child?

I don't have any and neither does he. He says he wants one but sometimes i don't feel he does what should i do?

My husband didn't want kids until we had a miscarriage back in 2013. Then he was totally on board with having children however we didn't think I would be able to get pregnant. When we were TTC last year there would be times he acted like it wasn't what he wanted but then would get super upset when I got a negative pregnancy test. I think guys show their feelings about these things differently because they feel they have no control of the outcome. But once we got pregnant he was so excited an has been so eager to meet his baby boy. (I'm 38+4) if there's times he seems not interested in having a baby just try to talk to him but don't force it. Good luck Hun. Once it happens I'm sure he won't have the flip flop emotions and just be excited(:

Neither of us have any. When we got together, initially he wanted children very much, but I wasn't ready and told him as much. When he proposed, I reminded him that I still didn't feel ready and that if he were to marry me, he'd have to accept it if he never had children. 
He still married me, and now I'm pregnant with our first. 
My advice? Have a frank discussion and ask him to be honest with you about it. Children are an important discussion for every couple.

He definitely wants one. I'm hoping for 2. I have an 11 year old from a previous relationship. While he's my only child, he has siblings at his dad's house. I hated being an only child. So I've always wanted to have several children. Fingers crossed that after we have 1 he will agree to 2.

Mine already has one so he is indifferent. I don't want one and he jokes around that we will have one..but it won't be till I'm at least 32. So another 10 years down the road. He will be 39 then and he is ok with that.

My husband always wanted to create a family, and we have been married for a while now over 5 years, he always talked about working hard to save so he can afford a good life for future kids and also work so he doesn't have to work as hard later! However, my husband rarely talks about feelings, I'm not talking about " love feelings" he expresses that all the time. I mean he NEVER complains, he never panics when things go wrong, he is so positive!  He calms me down all the time!  I think the worst case scenario 😂  we both didn't want kids earlier in marriage , but we always said " once we reach goal 1,2,3 we should be ready to have a baby. This year we both talked and he likes to start trying this summer , now I have a freaking count down lmfao😂😂😂and I asked are you serious?! Over and over 🙈🙈 I cannot wait but at the same time I'm terrified and scared that my life will change forever! To make it worse I do deliveries,  you would think I wouldn't mind being pregnant, but the more you see and know the more panaroid you get!  I hope and pray that it doesn't take long to conceive, bc I have ZERO patience about this! I want to know the results right away😂😂 and then it the wait to reveal the gender will kill me!

I've known him for 10 years, dated a little in our teen years. We got back together and started a serious relationship 3 years ago. At first we both agreed we didn't want kids. But life changes, and we started talking about kids more and more. Our views changed as we got older. After trying, I'm pregnant with both of our firsts, and he is really excited about our son

My fiancé has a 3 yr son that we have custody of. he is completely satisfied he doesn't really see why his son isn't enough for me. He's wants ONE more but just because I want one. But I want two or three of my own so we will see 😀😍
