Jealous or Over thinking

My best friend (of 17 yrs) paid for the two of us to go on a trip to Miami (3 days) for my birthday. My boyfriend didn't want me to go cause he was going to miss me. Mind you, he's working 5am-7/8pm everyday including weekends. I go, we spend all our time at the beach, eating out, and I got 3 new small tattoos (two matching with her), nothing more...

My boyfriend flipped out, saying I should have asked him before I got my tats and that I'm selfish for going on vacation with her. Him and I have only been together 7 months, known each other a year and some change. He's been acting this way for the last two days now.... He even had the nerve to say he thinks that something's wrong and I'm trying to hide it from him. He's great otherwise but this behavior is new and I really don't know what to do...
