Piercings. maybe tmi?

Nearly 12 weeks pregnant and i have 9 piercings including a dermal, and vch (vertical clit hood). Heard that i have to take them all out for labour and incase of c section. Wondering if im aloud to wear retainers or something that not metal instead of them closing up. Any1 else in the same boat or know what to do?

I'm almost guaranteeing the hood piercing will have to be taken out. that area goes through so much stretching during labor that it would have such a big risk of tearing.

I too have the same piercing. With my first child I took it out and I will take it out with these ones as well because you can stretch or tear without the help of the piercing. Your hole will not close, just make sure you are able to take your piercing out close to your due date or like me (before you can't see down there) and that won't be enough time for it to close...unless it's a newer piercing. I would think retainers would be ok. I would ask about the hood piercing though just in case.
