Stress!

Holy Moly reading some of the posts on here is stress inducing! Yesterday my husband and I discussed our birthing plan - at home, just us, the midwives and my doula best friend. We won't be telling anyone we are going into labour other than them and the family will know when all is done and baby had safely entered the world. This gives them no options but to not be present and frees us of the argument all together. I don't understand why people even entertain the idea of allowing those that weren't present st conception to have any say on who will be present at the birth. It's your body, your baby and your life. Not your mom's, sisters, mother in laws.
