Paint the House?

Question

Is it safe to paint a house while pregnant? I'm 23 w and I asked my doctor but I'm not sure I understand her answer. Googling gives me mixed opinions so I thought I would try here. Have your doctors said anything about it? Thanks! 😊

Try to get a low or no VOC paint and then just make sure the house is ventilated! I'll be painting our baby room and I'm 25w2d (my hubby is a terrible painter and I'm a perfectionist lol)

I just painted our nursery about two months ago. Just make sure it's well ventilated and I wore a mask also to be safe and had a fan blowing outside. Also, only use latex paint NO oil based paint!

There are certain paints that are ok to use. You also need to make sure it's very well ventilated.
