Have you ever dated 2 or more guys at the same time ?

Heard this type of story on the radio, I'm curious what everyone else thinks about it.

It's not a need,  it's just a different way of living,  is an understanding that some people can love and be loved by more than one person,  it's not unusual to have feelings for more than one person.  Actually considering the amount of people who cheat it's very common.  And it stands to reason that if you and your partners are open to allowing each other the freedom to take on multiple partner that could be a successful  relationship model.  There are many many forms of polyamory,  and it's not just men wanting the freedom to fuck who they want.  It requires  Constant communication,  understanding,  and an ability to fulfill all of your partners needs.  It's also important to note that  it can only be successful if you have a strong relationship and connection with your  partners.  It's about loving people for who they are not because they are your one  and only.  Being someone's one and only can breed distrust and jealousy.  While polyamory opens up the relationship for more understanding, don't get me wrong though there is plenty of jealousy,  but it takes a deeper understanding of one's self to understand where jealousy comes from and communication to find a solution.

Yes! I have when I was younger. And they all knew and were okay with it. We were all in our early 20s and noncommittal. But we practiced safe sex!!!! I also had a friend that not only dated multiple guys but set a rigid schedule with them (and they all knew about it). Each of the three guys had set days on the week. Hahah. She's very organized. :)  both our situations ended on good terms. Communication and condoms are key!

I have! It was nice. Granted, both weren't boyfriend status - one was my SO and the other was a fwb. Both knew about each other. BUT then my fwb wanted to be more than that, so we had to end it on a sexual level.

I think if it makes you happy and no one is being deceived then good for you :)

Nope, but only because I prefer monogamous relationships.  I wouldn't be able to hand two guy's emotions and behavior.  Ugh dirty bathrooms.  Hahhaa!!  But you do you!  Just make sure you communicate to both of them what's going on so they know what they are getting into.

I think there is a little number of guys who would agree to that. That's why those who cheat they hide it , because it's hard to accept your partner as a polyamorus . I think you always have feelings for one person which are stronger then feelings for another person . That's just my opinion

not a proud moment in my dating history. in high school I dated 5 guys at the same time. they all went to different schools and they all played different sports so they never crossed paths. in the end it got to be too much work and I cut them all loose. not my finest moment. luckily I grew out of that pretty quick

Do you mean just going out and talking or being in a relationship, kissing and all that with 2 or more guys? In that case, no. I think it's wrong in my opinion.

We tried a sort of poly thing once, but my SO got very jealous so we ended it.

I know many others who are poly who do just fine though. 👍
