Pcos question??

Can pcos show in blood work?? What tests show this? I was put on metformin and provera (every 35 days with a negative preg test) bec my OB said my insulin levels are high. (Actually normal levels but she would like it lower?) idk if she wss trying to treat me for pcos but she doesnt say. I remember having an ultrasound checking for pcos when i was in my early teens but it was negative. Can pcos come at a later time?? I really dk 😳
