Baby shower irritation

If I have one more person call or message me asking why I'm having my baby shower on the day I am I am going to go off! My mama is in the hospital and has been since January 21st. She is due to be home on the 24th this month. Of course it could be later if anything happens but my shower is on the 31st. I am hoping my mom will in fact be there. But I had so many people ask why I am having it on a day she could likely not come. I started a new job about a month ago and that Sunday is the last day I'll have off on a weekend until my maternity leaves kicks in at the end of august. People want me to change it to another day so I can be sure she can make it even though me and her have discussed it already. So basically my schedule doesn't matter to them. Am I overreacting or what???
