Why is naming your baby so hard?

For me, it was hard because I know a lot of crappy people with nice names!

Because it's something someone will have to live with for the rest of their lives and be called that by other people in a professional work place and by friends and family.

Personally for me it's hard mostly because I'm super picky. The name has to have meaning behind it and has to be Greek. And gotta choose the name worthy or your baby. I see people having babies and they reuse the same names over and over again and it to me makes me feel like the baby is common like "oh look another joseph" or "there's like 8 other Alyssia's in one store" that's why I think its difficult. My husband's name is Joseph and it's the most common name ever. I called him in kohl's yesterday and 3 other men answered me not including the employee. Worst is men with common names usually want Jr's  And at some point you get tired of hearing common names and want your child to stand out.

Because  I want it to be different  and  unique.  Not common

Because it's not like naming an animal or a doll or something where you can see it and get a feel for it's personality.
