Am I a mother yet?

So I'm 8 months pregnant and asked my SO what the plans were for Mother's Day.... Apparently he doesn't think I get to celebrate it this year because our baby isn't here yet....I still feel like i should be able to!

My husband wants to celebrate Mother's Day. He said, though she isn't here yet, she's still in my belly and is being loved and cared for, therefore, I am a mother. I say pregnant women are mothers, but I chose not to celebrate this year. I want to actually wait until next year when I've experience motherhood fully. That's my choice though. If any mother wants to celebrate Mother's Day, I feel they have the right to do so.

I didn't celebrate Mother's Day and my son was born May 27th lol I was so close! Some women do but not me personally. Its like a bad luck thing for me lol

My baby won't be here until next month and so I don't consider myself a mother yet. That day will be for celebrating my lovely mother :)
