Are you keeping a pregnancy journal?

I'm curious if it's something I should get.

I picked up an awesome one from babies r us. I say it's awesome cause I'm terrible at journaling. And I just have to at the beginning of each week. It has watercolors of whatever size fruit the baby is, and has almost a madlibs style page fr me to fill in the blanks on how I'm feeling, what I want the baby to know his week, and something random. I love it! It's so easy!

I had an extra small notebook that my husbands nana gave me, so I decided to turn that into a pregnancy journal. At first I wrote in it all the time...I told my future child the whole story of how daddy convinced mommy to take the dogs out to go potty real quick while waiting the "5 minutes" the pregnancy tests take to show and how when I came back in not even 3 minutes later daddy had a HUGE grin in his face because it was a positive! I also wrote about who we told, when we told them, and their reactions. We also wrote about our doctors appointments and how I'm feeling. We also wrote about how excited we are for him or her to come. We also wrote about the different names we've narrowed it down to, and then which ones we went with. Just stuff like that. As more doctor appointments come in, I'll add to it. I wrote in it as if I'm writing to him or her.

I have one that I wrote in while I was seeking fertility treatment and about my appointments, but I keep misplacing it. :( I write in it when I find it though. Lol.

I'm not consistent with my journaling, so buying a specific pregnancy journal would be a waste of money for me. I was given one during one of my pregnancies, but I never actually used it other then writing a couple of things on the first page or so. But I am trying to do regular journaling. I try to journal anyway, no matter what… It's just hard for me to remember to do it. When I'm pregnant, I record different things about my pregnancy. I figure that one day my daughters might read my journals anyway… I'm so if I record things about my pregnancy, it might be helpful to them.

I bought just an empty journal w a pretty cover. I actually bought it for my first pregnancy but had a MC, so I tucked it away before I had the chance to do anything with it. Keep meaning to start it now but have been so lazy. I need to get on that!

I love the Belly Book. It's very simple to fill in. This will be my 3rd child and I have one filled out for each baby.  It's nice to go back and look at each one to see if my symptoms match up.
