Can you still get pregnant if you have sex when you are not fertile or ovulating?

According to Glow I didn't ovulate in feb, but here I am 12 weeks later with a bun in my oven.

What the heck?? Several people and doctors told me it can't happen unless you're ovulating. I'm not trying to say you're all wrong I'm jus confused now haha. My boyfriend and I were trying for awhile and tried doing it when I was ovulating but we said screw it n I moved in and we had sex daily so I honestly have no clue lol I'm guessing you can though.
