BBT on a fever?

Question

So I've been taking my bbt everyday and it's been writing great for me to track my ovulation period and fertile window etc. but I was just wondering, what if I'm unwell and I have a cold or a fever, won't the bbt spike up and cause the chart tracker to put in a false ovulation?

Yes, it's most likely but after tracking for a few cycles you'll get to know your own pattern. Using OPK's can help if there's ever a time you don't feel well and aren't sure when you may ovulate.

It won't usually count as ovulation unless your temperature stays elevated for at least 3 days. So unless you are running a fever several days in a row, it should be fine.
