D&C completed

Well we went yesterday for the D&C. It went well considering. Everyone was very supportive and sympathetic. I had a lot of pain/cramping afterwards. They drugged me up and sent me home. Once that wore off I thought I was dying. It hurt so much. I called my OBGYN and she said because I was farther along my uterus would contract more until it returned to normal size. She suggested I lay in bed in a fetal position with the heating pad and to take 4 Motrin every 4-6 hours. It helped get me thru the night. I tried to do a little more today and the cramping returned so I've basically been stuck in bed. Hoping I feel better soon. She said all my symptoms could last 3-4 weeks. Hoping that's not the case.
