Gestational diabetes?

Any other moms on here dealing/dealt with gestational diabetes? I'm almost 32 weeks pregnant and have recently been diagnosed. I had a stillbirth last year, so this is just one more stressor to deal with. How have you guys managed?

This is my second pregnancy with it. I'm able to control it with diet only. Mine seems to be pretty mild compared to a lot of other ladies. Have you met with a dietitian or anything and started testing your sugars?

I just got diagnosed at 7 weeks, im just watching what I eat and cut out all processed sugars. Sugar is in everything!!! You have no idea until you start to look.

I do. I met with an endocrinologist & eat 3 meals a day with mostly protein and high protein snacks. I hardly have any cravings in between meals so my sugar stays consistent between 75-100.  I focus on having a healthy baby and trying to stay stress free. Doc put me on metformin 1000mg daily and I just take it with my prenatal vitamins. Does tour doctor have you on any diabetic regimen?
