Too young to ttc?

Question

I'm 19 years old, I have a VERY stead job.. (about 35k a year before taxes.) And my boyfriend is 21, with another very steady job... I have pcos, and I want a baby in the worst of ways. So I know I should start somewhat soon so I know if I need help... but is 19 too young?

If you wait until you feel your "ready" you'll be waiting forever....
Neither one of us have jobs like that and I still pray every month for a positive test.

If you are sexually active then I don't think so!!  You make your own decisions as a young women!! You make enough money to support your family and I don't see the problem..I got married at 20 and have been sexually active since I was 18 with my husband!! I knew what I was getting myself into by having sex at 18 at least your preparing yourself for pregnancy and not having sex young and aborting your child!! Good luck to you and don't take things on here so personal bc these women can be mean and very judgmental!! (:

Im kinda like you in that situation! Im 17 make 36k a year before taxes, my so also has a very stable job hes 20, and I have pcos. And weve been trying for 11 months.

I have pcos and we got pregnant the first month of ttc. Ended in a miscarriage but not all women who have pcos are the same. For some it takes a long time, for others is doesnt. Just be careful what you wish for. I'm 23 and hubby 25, he makes about 90k a year and I make about 48k and we are still worried about finances, especially since I'll quit my job when the baby comes.
