Pregnant with pcos?

Question

Hi I'm 7 weeks pregnant and I had tried for over 2 years to conceive. I found out in that time that I had pcos so I was out on metformin which I continue to take up till I'm 12 weeks. I just read a lot of bad things online about being pregnant with pcos and was wondering if anyone on here has it and is having a healthy pregnancy or had had a healthy baby...could really use some inspiration! Thanks!

I was diagnosed a loooong time ago with pcos, had lost 120lbs in the span of 2/3 years. Had emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder and stuck to a very strict healthy diet after, then started Crossfitting and lost another 15lbs (trading off a lot of fat for muscle weight).
Doctor said it was that last little bit that even made it possible for me to conceive! Because I was certain I wasn't able to at all, my family didn't believe so either.
At 32 weeks, I have had an absolutely ideal pregnancy! It hasn't been easy as far as symptoms and weight gain (being a first timer and all) but I've had zero complications, risks, poor test results/high BP etc.

My little one is 4 months.  Was conceived using Clomid because of pcos.  Had gestational diabetes and took insulin.  Also took metformin my whole pregnancy.  Was induced at 39w4d because of the insulin and ended up having a c section because of his heart rate.

I have an amazing 7 year old and I'm 15w4d pregnant with healthy and beautiful baby #2. I was diagnosed with PCOS over 10 years ago. I'm also on Metformin for this pregnancy. My doctor said since I've been taking it this long with success he doesn't have a problem with me continuing it throughout my pregnancy. It's easier to stay on the to get off it and go through the icky side effects all over again at the beginning.

Yep!! I have a totally healthy and awesome 6 year old  I'm currently almost 18w with #2. There are several pros frouos on here and one for pcos & pregnant. I will send an invite if you haven't found it already. PCOS mainly makes it hard to conceive, but after that it should be like normal (assuming no other contributing factors). Good luck!!
