Found out yesterday I'm pregnant. When should I call a doctor? And is the any alternatives for not having insurance?

I agree. Make your appt. right away. Some doctors get so backed up they won't be able to see you right away. Depending on where you are, try planned parenthood? They might be able to help you apply for Medicaid. Also look up online, whether you are going to be eligible. Saves you some time and most states have income guidelines online.

Most docs won't see you until you're around 8 weeks, but you can make an appointment anytime for when you're around 8 weeks.

I had to wait it out til I was 10w before they'd see me and do that first ultrasound. But I found out at about 4w, researched the doctors to get a couple names in mind of who i liked, and called right away. Got set up with the exact two gals I had written down, too! :)
