Baby Wearing?

I have a 3year old daughter and my second due in December. I never knew about babywearing when I had my daughter, but this time, I really want to try it out.

However, I know many good wraps/carriers are really expensive and I really don't want to spend the money until I know for sure that I will stick with it. If I do turn out to like it, I do plan to switch to either a moby wrap or a tula.

I came across Boba Wraps and they are about $50 and then $100+ if you get the carrier. My question is, how safe are the wraps for baby since they are so cheap? Are they sturdy? Will they hurt babys hips?

I have a Moby (and every other wrap or sling ever made lol) and I never really got the hang of it, it was confusing.I bought a never used Ergo off eBay for $75 and I adore it! It's so easy to use a d my daughter loved it. I liked how much we could snuggle on hikes, errands etc. I eventually carried her on my back with it and that was great too.I haven't heard anything bad about the baboa though :-)

I have the Baby K'tan and the Ergo. Only used the K'tan the first week. The ergo is sooooo comfy-we use it all the time!!!

Yes! It's the only way I get things done. Usually when I put her in there, she's asleep within 20 minutes:) Honestly, I didn't think the K'Tan was worth the $50. I may try it again when she gets strong enough to hold her head up but she still can't do it for too long which limits the ways I can wear

Do you baby wear while you're doing stuff around the house? I plan on getting an Ergo and I was going to get a K'tan but I'm not sure if it's good for wearing a lot.

I used a moby, which looks similar to that, it was also $50. I loved it when my babies were newborns. I never felt like they were unsafe or that they were going to fall. They were very comfy and snug and always fell right to sleep In them.

I haven't ever done the baby wearing either but I plan on it with this baby. I got the boba wrap for her and when we got it in we thought we would try it out on our 3 year old just for the fun of it at home and it held him up. He's about 30 lbs. so I would say it's pretty sturdy. Lol.
