Taking his name...
Taking the last name of the man when getting married is an ancient tradition to verify that a woman is now the property of the man and no one else can have her. I really want to be okay with taking my fiance's name! But i just don't see why it is so socially unacceptable to hyphenated or even take the girls name. Why do we perpetuate an archaic tradition?
