Pcos and vitex

Ok so my aunt goes to an acupuncturist and she does up all kinds of herbal teas that help with certain ailments and my aunt swears by this lady with whatever tea she made her for her menopause. Anyway, she recommended I start taking vitex to try and help with the PCOS symptoms and potentially getting pregnant after being on it for awhile. I was wondering if anyone had had side effects, which differ between people I know, or any success getting pregnant on it. We've been trying for close to 3 years with no success. Any advice would be welcome!
