Anyone having trouble with choosing a godmother?

I know it's suppose to be the person my child goes to if me & him died. But my baby would definitely go to my sisters. But I'm having trouble choosing a friend for the title they all wanna be the god mother ! My Bestfriend is moving out of the state so idk about her being it anymore

Having an issue with godfather! Not very many godly men in my life...

My best friend is getting the honor. She lives in Boston which is 5 hours away but it very involved in our lives and truly loves this baby. We have had a very hard time trying to choose a godfather as there just aren't many good options aside from a few friends but we ran into an issue where their wives would feel slighted so we decided to not do a godfather and just do a godmother for now. We are having a girl so figure that's fine.
