Would you name your baby after yourself?

I've always really liked my middle name and I'm contemplating giving the baby my middle as her first name (if she is a girl ). However, I'm not sure how I feel about it! The name I love, but I think I might feel weird calling my child a name that I identify myself with. I know that men do this all the time with their sons, and I don't go by my middle name, but should I give my baby her own identity? This is a strange problem maybe...

My middle name is my moms middle name which is her moms first name.

My daughter's first name is my middle name and we decided to name our son (due July) my husband's middle name! So if you like it, go for it! Besides rarely do ppl know your middle name anyway other than family:)

I think giving your baby your middle name is great :) First names, maybe that would be too confusing, but nothing wrong with middle names.

I was named after my grandmother. If we have a girl she will have mine and her name, in honor of her. I love family names and my name is not very common. I have only met a handful of Rena's.

I'm giving my little girl my middle name. I love it and it doesn't get the use that it deserves so I am giving it to her.
