How to tell SO I'm pregnant

Things are pretty stressful in our house. I got in a major car accident in February and lost my job due to not being able to work for weeks. We haven't been trying to get pregnant very had. Stopped BC I. January and are just letting it happens when it happens. We are in the process of buying a house, on one income. Yikes! So we are pressed for cash and all on edge. Last night at dinner my SO said to me, "out of all months this would be the worst one to get pregnant, so let's hope you're not." Last pregnancy I just knew I was pregnant long before I could even test. I have felt the same way for the past couple of days. Now if I'm pregnant I'm terrified to break the news. Should I test with him or without him? How do I break the news if we are pregnant? Have you ever been nervous to break the news?
