29 weeks and dilated already?

Sitting at the hospital for 5 hours and I'm dilated to a 1.
Anyone else 29 weeks and having that problem?

In my birthing class they said that is completely normal. You can be at 1 and stay that way all the way to 42 weeks. Our instructor was at 2 early with all her pregnancies and made it to 42 weeks with all.

I was 26 weeks and dilated to 2. I stayed that way until I was 37 weeks! I  was put on bed rest but of course I didn't really abide by it. No sex though!!!

Were you having contractions? What made them decide to check you? I was dilated to a 3 at 35 weeks and went a week past my due date. They kept saying any day now and then ended up inducing me.
