If you were pregnant in your teens/20s and now again in your mid to late 30s, have you noticed a difference?

My MIL keeps telling me pregnancy is "no big deal" but I'm wondering if my woes are related to my "advanced maternal age" verses her teen mom status ...

I had a horrible horrible pregnancy 20 years ago. Asthma attacks, nausea for 9 months, threw up for 6, had a pimple that didn't stop bleeding for 3 days turned into a soft growth skin tag on my forehead that need to be removed. I got the pregnancy mask over my whole face. Nose and lips swollen. Had my full blown period for 3 months.... hence me not finding out about being pregnant until my 4th month.  NOW at 36.......my back is sore. IM HAPPY! It woke me up out of my sleep. But Ill take it before that dam nausea and dang day!

I was 16 when my first was born, 19 with the 2nd and 21 with the 3rd (my last passed away at age 6).  All boys.   Now 15 years since my last birth and 8 years after my youngest son's passing and here we are...and it's a girl!

I had my first baby aged 25, that was 10 years ago and man oh man am I seeing a difference!
I'm SO TIRED all the time this time around. Don't get me wrong I napped with my first but not for 3-4 hours!! That's on top of sleeping for 10-12 hours during the night! All o seem to do is sleep!

On top of that the morning sickness has been HORRID this time around! I actually lost weight and ended up on medication to help with the nausea so that I could eat and drink. 
Thankfully I think I'm slowly coming to the end of that now that I'm just over 10 weeks.

I have also read that you show earlier with subsequent pregnancies but never expected to look this far along already! I'm going shopping for maternity clothes and underwear this week as I'm outgrowing my usual clothes already! lol

Weird thing with this pregnancy is I have no idea what I'm having. With my first I knew from day one he was a boy...I just knew.

With this pregnancy I have no idea! I've had a hunch all along it may be twins and if it is maybe it's boy/girl and that's why I'm not sure...I guess I'll find out at our first ultrasound at the end of the month lol

I'm only 7 weeks so I'm not sure if it's easier or harder yet, but one thing is for certain- I worry a whole lot more!!!!!

I had my first baby at 20. My second at 34 and now my third will arrive after my 41st birthday. Each pregnancy was different. My first was the hardest for me. But this one took me for all I had during the first trimester. I am just now starting to feel Human again. Lol.

I've had babies at 23, 24, 29, 32, 36, and will be 37 when this one arrives.

My easiest was the last at age 36. Next easiest would have been my first at 23, then at 24, then 37, then 29.
My hardest was at 32. That little one had me miserable from day one!!! Ugh!!
I say age has SOME to do with things. But not all.

Second pregnancy at 31, was beautiful and easy all the way thru.
Currently pregnant at 34, sick all day and night, shortness of breath consistently.

My first pregnancy at 18 I was sick the first 3 months and lost 15lbs. Then I gave birth 3 weeks past my due date. I was induced and was in active labor for 2 days before they actually decided they to do a C section. I had horrible back labor and the two days I was in labor all I could do was cry so when I got on the table I passed out from crying so much. Oh yea I had my daughter in the middle of a very bad ice storm. So instead of staying in the hospital for the 3 days I couldn't go home until I could prove I had a generator at the house. I was stuck in the hospital for 2 weeks. I was ready to go home. I was a single parent and only had the support of my parents. This time I'm 11w5d and have all the support from my husband. I'm thankful for all the sickness this time cause I had a miscarriage back in November. Praying for a healthy baby. My daughter will be 18 in Jan so I'm starting all over again lol.
