Not interested

I have been with my boyfriend for two years and have lived with him for one. The issue is he talks to me like I'm stupid, he is very harsh when I try to open up to him and no matter what I say to him about the way he speaks to me it's always how I interpret what he said. He never takes ownership for the way he speaks to me. Of course this leaves me emotionally drained. So when it comes to sex I'm not interested. I need to feel emotional protected not damaged. I've tried talking to him about it but nothing has changed. Any suggestions on how to get him see his words hurt????
