AF almost two weeks late...

So the day after my period was suppose to start (almost 2 weeks ago) I had severe cramps that brought me to tears. Went to the ER, they did a vaginal ultrasound and gave me pain meds. Result of the scan was fine, doctor said everything looked healthy. I did have a urine test and he said they found a little blood (he said it was like 2 blood cells lol). He also said that by judging by the ultrasound it my body looked like it was getting ready for AF. They did due a pregnancy test and it was negative. Well it never came. I spotted like two days ago but it was like pink. And today the slight sporting is brown. I'm trying not to get my hopes up since I have PCOS but it's been a long time since I've been this late and I know implantation bleeding can cause a pinkish or brownish spotting. I've also gotten sick to my stomach off and on along with occasional nausea. I haven't taken a pregnancy test yet because I've seen enough negative results to make my eye twitch. Waiting till the end of this week when my husband and I get paid before I try one. Knowing my luck I'm just having an hormonal imbalance. Would love some opinions!
