Best time for your baby shower?

I'm not due until November so I know it's a ways away but when would everyone suggest having a baby shower? I'm scared of waiting too long, my sister had her first 5 weeks early which isn't common, but I don't want to have it too early either. Thanks in advance!!

Since I'm due in December I think we are going to schedule the shower for October. We are having one in Vegas and one in Cali,probably beginning and then end of October. It's tough with Thanksgiving so I'd rather do it early.

I'm having two baby showers.  One will be when I'm 31 weeks and then the other one will be when I'm 34 weeks.  I'm having two because half of my family is in California and the other half is here where I live now.

I had mine set for about 32 weeks and then my daughter came early so I ended up having a post baby birth shower. So it's probably good to do it earlier rather than later if you can :)

I'm having mine next weekend at 31 weeks, I think that leaves enough time to buy things just in case

I'll be 32 weeks for mine but would have preferred to have my shower around 28 weeks.

I'm having it at 30 weeks. I want to not feel like a giant exhausted whale that has all these people in her house.  I'd rather have it now ha ha ha

I'm due 9/21 and my shower will be on 7/11. We wanted to make sure we still had a little bit of time to buy things we don't receive not to mention I won't be toooooo big so I'll still be able to enjoy it 😊
