How did you handle your job when leaving to have your baby?

I have a feeling my doctor is going to take me out of work. I'm 22 weeks pregnant with mono di twins and it's considered high risk. My boss asked if I intend to come back. I'm definitely not coming back but in order for me to obtain disability payments I have to intend to return. How would you suggest I handle this? Or how did you handle it?

Well you will have your maternity leave time, once that's I over I'd tell them you have decided it will be easier to be a stay at home mom but are willing to work a little bit tell they find someone.

Your first priority is your family and those little babies - no job or work trumps that. So if work needs to think you're coming back, for the sake of you providing for your family, so be it. Besides, you won't truly know until you're in the situation. Who knows? Maybe you will go back?

You just lie lol, im not planning on going back either. I felt kind of bad but that feeling goes away. Just find the date your benefits would run out and say thats when you come back.

I'm doing this exact thing. They think I'm coming back full time but I will either work part time from home or quit after my leave. They can't know this until leave is over though which makes me feel kind of guilty :/ they're being so nice to me
