When can your baby begin to hear?

I am curious as to when your baby can begin to hear you and noises outside the womb. I keep seeing conflicting information. The top notification was from glow and I thought it sounded like it may be a little early so I did some googling and found the second one on the mayo clinic website. It's not a big deal but I was excited that the baby may be able to hear us now and everywhere else it states that the baby can't hear you until later on in pregnancy.
