Any advice please

So, on May 16 I started spotting when my period was due I spotted for two days then brown discharge on May 18. When I started spotting it had been thirty four days since my last period and it occurred two weeks after ovulation. I took a pregnancy test and it said negative but I am having lower back pain and some pain in my left abdominal occasionally with some cramps every now and then. Does anyone know what could be going on? Af isn't due Til June 16. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.
