Anyone a carrier of cystic fibrosis?

The doctor just called and said that I tested positive for being a carrier of cystic fibrosis and now my husband has to be tested to see if he's a carrier as well. I've never heard of cf and the worry has set in. Anyone have experience with cf?

I found out with my youngest that I was a carrier and my husband had to get tested too. He came back negative.

It's a 25% if you are a carrier and the same for your husband. It's a genetic disease that can be treated from birth of picked up.
Try not to panic about it until you know more, Dr Google will terrify you.

I work with a lot of CF kids, they're all lovely kids, despite their challenges 😊

I found out I was a carrier a couple weeks ago. Thankfully my husband isn't. Just don't panic until his blood test results come back and stay away from google amd web md. Worst decision ever.
