Question about ovulation testing!

I have been testing for ovulation every morning when I wake up and have been getting definitely negative results every day for 7 days... This morning I had the control line and then the test line but the test line was slightly lighter thAn the control line. This evening I tested again and it was back to being just the control line... Did I ovulate? If we ttc now is there still a good chance of becoming pregnant?
