Mini-pill and pull out method or just mini pill?

Question

My son is 7 weeks old and my husband and I started having sex again. I was on the combination birth control pill and husband never pulled out and I didn't get pregnant until after getting off pill.

I've been on mini pill for almost 3 weeks and am really good about taking it. I take it every night around 8-8:10.

Question is what would you advise? Just relying on the mini pill or also having him pull out?

My dr told me as long as you take it exact same time and are breastfeeding it's supposed to be just as effective as regular bc. But if you feel like your unsure than pulling out won't hurt anything except maybe a towel.

I am also on the mini pill and from what my doctor said, I would use a condom too, if your not wanting another one right away.
