Advice?

I have a 38-39 day cycle. I waited until today to test which is day 41... So officially 2-3 days late and a BFN. I'm worried. If I didn't ovulate and that's why I didn't get a period, would that mean something is wrong? I was sure I ovulated because I had what I thought were ovulation cramps on May 18th, which was in my fertile week and we did the BD every other day during my fertile week fr the 13-18. What should I do? Has anyone been pregnant and still gotten a negative after their missed period?
