Started taking metformin?

Do u know anyone that has started taking Metformin in the beginning process of trying to have a baby.??

Yes. The Obgyn had me start taking 500mg 2x/day of metformin plus 50 mg of clomid days 3-7 of my cycle. I got pregnant my second round (month) on clomid/metformin combo! I could add more detail, but that's the basics of my story. I'm currently 21w 2d with my first healthy baby (boy💙)!

I started taking Metformin 500mg 2x/day since November, and found out last week I'm 7 weeks pregnant after 2 years of TTC. Good luck and baby dust to you!

Yep! I started taking 1000mg a day of Metformin due to PCOS. PCOS was not allowing me to ovulate. The Metformin got my cycles back to on time and normal and I am currently 18w3d pregnant and still taking it. 😊

I took it for about a year and a half before getting pregnant. My doctor was going to have me take it until 12 weeks, but it was making me so sick that he had me stop early and start testing my blood sugar.
