Waiting until 22 weeks to determine gender?

I'm 16 weeks and my doctor wants me to wait until 22 for gender scan! 😳 I think I may just get a private scan because I can't wait that long, well I don't want to

They can start the scans at 16 weeks but my doctor won't see me for my scan until 20 weeks. I'm dying as well lol she said it's the acogs recommendation/guidelines etc and it's more accurate that late and easier to see etc. good luck momma!
