Ovulating on Bc?

I am on the IUD (going on 6 months) and feels like the past few months I have been ovulating. I know you're not supposed to ovulate while on birth control. I am having the same CM as I had when I wasn't on any bc...sticky, egg white, and watery. I still get periods too. Is this possible? Could it not be working?
