Hummus?

Are we allowed to eat shop bought hummus? U.S. websites say not but NHS UK sites say yes....

Do what the NHS tells you (and then you can also eat sushi!) I've had plenty of hummus.

Yes:- just follow usual food hygiene rules. Make sure it's in date, stored in the fridge etc. it's just to prevent risk of food poisoning. Same with everything else, make sure it's cooked all the way through, if it's hot it should be piping hot, if it's cold it should be properly refridgerated. If it's cured or raw (Parma ham, cured meat & sushi) either cook it or make sure it's been frozen format least 2days-this apparently kills any nasty food poisoning bugs.
