During my semester i went out of twn to school we saw eachother on weekends and it sucked he worked all day then it would be a few min of his time to talk, we only saw eachother on weekends i would get so pissed if he didnt stay up to talk to me he definitely understood after arguing and telling him i need attention though but sometimes he still fall asleep but I understand hes tited from his busy day and just learn to appreciate his effort if he is atleast trying

I completely understandyou, you have no idea... Me and my fiancée went through the same thing. All these girls are saying you sound to clingy I don't believe so your letting him know how you feel and if he wants you he'lol change you don't have to keep your mouth shut to make is life better and yours miserable let him know exactly how you feel girl and if you do get the same response than just blow him off ignore him give it a week week an a half at most if still not response the you'll know he truly does not care for you as he would care for his other half.

My husband and I dated long distance for a couple years. That shit is tough. We kept our relationship solid by spending time through common interests: we both like video games, so we played co-op games we enjoyed most nights. Sounds like you might not like video games. What about TV shows you're both into? Watch them together on face time/Skype, or watch and talk about it after. You also need to stay busy when you're not doing stuff together, just like you would if you lived in the same city or even the same house. We were close enough we could drive and spend weekends together, 5hr one way, so if that's feasible and you're not doing it, you both should be. Trade weekends, or trade months. It's not crazy to want to talk to your boyfriend, but make sure to step back every so often and make sure you're not ignoring his compromise attempts.

Bottom line is relationships are work, communication and compromise, and if one or both aren't up to the challenge, get out and be free, and find what you want in life.

Yeah, a bit, at least from the information available. I was in an LDR until I moved back to the same coast as my dude. We texted and would answer texts when we could. I guess what works is neither of us like talking on the phone or Skype.

The way you attacked him was what killed it. If you would have just simply talked to him and not been such a bitch to him, it may have worked out better. As soon as you texted him you were attacking him. Does he really try to Put in the effort in the afternoon? I mean, I understand wanting to go to bed early, and you have to respect that, but at the same time he needs to respect your needs too. But you also have to realize that you both have different lives. You both seem busy, take the time you CAN get from him and stop bitching at him. And if you can't do that, end it.

I understand you're upset, but lecturing him and talking down to him are going to push him away. If the time he spends talking to you he feels like he's being treated less than how he deserves to be treated, he'll probably move on. I don't think you're doing it on purpose and I think it comes from a place of wanting to feel loved and valued, but I also think he is trying and he's being very respectful and tolerant. A lot of guys would basically tell you to go fly a kite. He seems like a nice guy and I'd hate for you to lose him.
