Homecoming outfit for baby

So, my mother-in-law has been looking for a homecoming outfit for our baby boy due in August. While I think it could be a nice gesture, I feel very strongly that I would like for my husband and I to experience choosing this special outfit together. I almost feel like she's trying to step on my toes, but I don't have the heart to tell her I want to be the one to choose his homecoming outfit.
