thinking bout about buying baby stuff

So I'm looking on Pinterest and just thought maybe I should buy stuff for baby starting now. That way we aren't rushing out to get stuff and whatnot. We've been trying for baby #2 for a year on The 17th this month. Has anyone else done this and would I be too crazy to do so?
