Anal help

I've enjoyed anal with my husband a few times. I want to do it more and plan on getting more toys for anal play. My only concern is everything coming out clean. How do you ladies know (or what do you do before) to make sure it's not going going to get messing during anal. I don't want it to ruin the mood.
