First appt. worried

Didn't get ultrasound :( have to wait till next week. Dr did pelvic exam and said I have fibroids, of course I came right home and Googled away now I'm freaking out can cause infertility and miscarriage.. He also thinks I'm closer to 15 weeks but that can't be unless I had a full 4 day period well pregnant? They couldn't get heartbeat on the monitor but said not to worry about that as I'm over weight and it's still early if I'm 15 weeks shouldn't they have been able to get it anyway?
