Breastfeeding & anxiety: D-MER?

Zahra • FTM to beautiful baby Aria born 04/07/15
My LO is 8 weeks and every time I breastfeed her or pump (which is multiple times a day, of course), I get a panic attack which lasts a few minutes. It has become so overwhelming that I talked to my doctor about it, thinking that it may be PPD.
Turns out, it's another rather new condition called Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex, or D-MER.
Has anyone experienced or heard of this?
Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex is a condition affecting lactating women that is characterized by an abrupt dysphoria, or negative emotions, thatoccur just before milk release and continuing not more than a few minutes.Preliminary testing shows that D-MER is treatable  if severe and preliminary investigation shows that inappropriate dopamine activity at the time of the milk ejection reflex is the cause of D-MER.
Dysphoria is defined as an unpleasant or uncomfortable mood, such as sadness, depressed mood, anxiety, irritability, or restlessness. Etymologically, it is the opposite of euphoria.
Just looking for some ways to deal with it. If anyone has any suggestions, please share!
