Why do we cramp?.

Why do we cramp during pregnancy?. I just found out I'm expecting, I've been cramping randomly on and off for a week(thought it was PMS) but now that I know I'm expecting I'm worrying. Idk when I'm going to be able to see a doctor. I just want some reassurance.

During early pregnancy can be implantation, then normal stretching which translates as cramping. As long as there's no blood and it's not immobilizing type pain it's normal! :)

I felt like I was about to start my period the first few weeks (maybe up until week 9) I was bloated and kept feeling cramps. It's normal. Get rest and make sure you are drinking lots of water. It's your uterus stretching and preparing for the baby.

Cramping during pregnancy is completely normal. The first couple months I would cramp more if I want drinking enough water. Now at almost six months I cramp due to my uterus stretching and round ligament pain. If you start having spotting/bleeding or unusual discharge then I would get checked by a doctor.

Also drinking lots of water helps it go away. You'll read if it's accompanied by blood, then you should go to the ER, otherwise drink lots of h20 ☺️

That was my first "pregnancy symptom". I kept thinking I was about to start my period and it ended up being implantation cramping.
