Scared
I'm scheduled for an induction first thing in the morning. I have gestational diabetes, so my doctor likes to induce at 39 weeks. I waited as long as possible (39 weeks 6 days) I've done everything in my power to try and coax him out naturally (2 sweeps, green raspberry leaf tea, sex, bouncing on a ball, walks, spicy food). My first child was born after having my membranes swept at 39 weeks. He was a completely natural birth with no epidural. My entire labor lasted 7 hours. I'm scared that with being induced, my labor will be more intense that I won't be able to handle it on my own. I'm just worried that he's still cooking and not ready to come out. I've had 2 ultrasounds a week for the past month. Each one has been fine. He's measuring on size if not a little smaller. I'm just scared and don't know what to do.
