He stopped with Celebrity Rehab after five of his patients died.
One of those patients, Mindy McCready, shot herself on her front porch.
She was on Xanax for quite sometime and this doctor, Dr Drew, ripped her off and did not put her on a seizure preventive. She had a grand mal seizure that first night, and it was aired on national TV. It seemed completely unethical and dangerous to me.
Fast forward to the other night. People call for his advice on love lines. One guy called asking how to help a friend who is a heavy drinker. Dr Drew, not paying attention, cut him off saying he needed to take methadone or suboxone for alcoholism. Yes, may have been a mistake but I am seeing a pattern with this guy....
He seems to give reckless advice. What are your opinions on him?
