Miscarriage?

I went to the ER last night for bleeding at 9 weeks pregnant. After all the test and stuff they basically said there is no heart beat and even though I'm supposed to be 9 weeks the baby was measured at 7 weeks and the sac 6 weeks and my hcg levels are way low? They said I should start experiencing heavy bleeding and cramps soon and I'll probably pass the baby. Since I left the hospital I haven't bled at all and my cramps are pretty much gone. Is this normal? Am I just supposed to wait it out? This is my first miscarriage.

My first miscarriage was a missed miscarriage. I didn't know the baby wasn't growing until my first ultrasound at 8 or 9 weeks I think and then it took another 2 weeks after that for me to miscarry. So I guess something like 6 or 7 weeks before my body realized what was happening.

Talk to your doctor but often there's no physical reason you can't wait for your body to take care of itself. If it's too hard mentally for you to wait that's another story and you definitely have options. Just talk to your doctor about it. I'm sorry for your loss. Hugs!

I had a miscarriage a couple weeks ago but never had any cramps or bleeding to make me think it was happening but found out at our ultrasound that there was no heart beat. So i had my D&C on the 29th because my body never started the process of expelling it on its own. I would call your doctor in the morning and schedule an appt to see her asap because you may need to have that procedure if your body doesn't do it for you. Very sorry for your loss hun 😔
